Peace of Winter

(54 words, 15 lines)

Winter has come

Leaves have fallen

Frost glitters everywhere

There, a doe wanders

On a wooded path

Eating last green shoots

An owl swoops nearby

Catching a rabbit

Not even I had eyed

Now a big buck

Gently nudges the doe

Into the woods

Silence descends

Upon winter scene

I am calm and happy
